OZONE CROSS THE MOUNTAIN 2010
1° tappa – ALL ROUND ETNA
Un nuovissimo format competitivo, il primo Rally delle nevi approda in Italia proprio sul vulcano ETNA nel centro del mediterraneo. Una competizione aperta a tutti quelli che vogliono esplorare, correre, salire, saltare, trainati dal proprio aquilone. Il primo CROSS COUNTRY RACE delle Nevi, una long distance unica ed irripetibile che si percorre in uno scenario unico al mondo, intorno al cratere più alto in Europa.
- La gara consiste nell’effettuare un percorso intorno a delle boe posizionate in un campo di gara realizzato sulla base della morfologia del territorio, con una distanza non inferiore ai 5 Km e non superiore ai 10 km.
- Le boe possono non essere visibili fra di loro, ma vengono indicate in partenza con i gradi bussola e su ogni boa viene indicata la direzione e i gradi bussola delle successive
- Il gioco consiste nel girare il percorso affrontando tutte le difficoltà della morfologia del territorio (salite-discese-salti)
- Non è possibile percorrerlo senza l’ausilio del Kite
- La gara si svolge a tempi compensati (partenza di un rider ogni 3 minuti)
- Vince chi effettua il giro in minor tempo nella singola Manches e chi accumula minor tempo nelle 3 Manches
- Gara valida per il Trailer contest (miglior Video)
- Gara valida per il OZONE CROSS THE MOUNTAIN 2010
- Punteggio 10 pt al primo / 8 pt al secondo / 6 pt al terzo ed i successivi acquisiscono 1 pt
- Obbligatorio utilizzo del Casco – Bussola – Telefono – Radio – Fischietto – Assicurazione personale RCT e infortuni
- Saranno suddivise le categorie SCI e SNOWBOARD e verrà stilata una classifica OVER ALL per entrambe **i dettagli verranno esposti al meeting che si svolgerà il giorno della presentazione dell’evento
TRAILER VIDEO
- La competizione consiste nella realizzazione di un trailer video di 3 minuti realizzato da un team di composto a coppie di 2 rider (sci e snow) muniti di macchine fotografiche o Video.
- La valutazione sarà sulla base dell’immagine e della musica, nonché della classifica Over All delle competizioni.
- Ogni giorno la coppia dovrà produrre un filmato Originale (non montato) e 15 Best Foto
- Tutte le sere la commissione formata dagli stessi Team Rider visionerà il materiale ed esporrà pubblicamente una valutazione basata sul criterio della Fotografia/Tecnica/Immagine/Storia
- Da questa valutazione i Team andranno in Finale con il montaggio di un video originale di max 2,5 minuti (Spot Trailer) e con la presentazione delle TOP 10 Photo
- Il Team che vince si assicura il CHASTADAYS Spot Trailer 2010 che verrà utilizzato in tutte le piattaforme di comunicazione mondiale
- Il Concorso è aperto a tutti

1°stage-ALL AROUND ETNA
A new competitive format,the first snow Rally comes to Italy juston the volcano ETNA in the center of Mediterranean.A competition opened to everyone who want to explore,run,rise,jump,dragged by their kite.
The first SNOW CROSS COUNTRY RACE ,a long ,unique and unrepeatable distance covered in a unique in the world scenery,around the most high volcano in Europe.
- The competition consists of realizing a course around some floats positioned in a competition field realized according to the territorial morphology , covering a distance not inferior to 5 km and not superior to 10 km.
- Floats could be not visible one another,but they are indicated at the beginning with compass degrees and in each float it is indicated the direction and the compass degrees of the following.
- The game consists of going round the route facing all the difficulties of the territoy (climbs,jumps,slopes)
- It is not possible to cover it without kite.
- The competition takes place in compensated time(A rider every 3 minutes)
- The winner is who takes an inferior time in the single Manche and who takes an inferior cumulated time in the 3 Manches.
- Valid competition for Trailer Contest (best video)
- Valid competition for Ozone Cross TheMountain 2010
- Score: 10 pt. to the first one/ 8 to the second one / 6 to the third and the following ones gain 1 point.
- Compulsory the use of :crash-helmet,compass,phone,radio,whistle,insurance.
- The categories of Ski and Snowboard will be divided and it will be created an OVERALL ranking for each one.**Details will be announced at the opening meeting of the event.
VIDEO TRAILER
- Competition consists of the realization of a video trailer of 3 minutes realized by a team composed by
- The valuation will be based on music and image ,as well as on the Over All competiotions classification.
- The couples will be composed by 2 riders (ski and snow) supplied with camera or camcorder
- Every day the couple has to create a video (not assembled) and 15 best photos .
- Every night the commission formed by the Team Rider will examine the material and publicly will tell a valuation based on photographic/technical/image/story criterions.
- The winner teams in the preliminary selection enter the final and have to edit an original videoof max 2,5 minutes (Spot Trailer) and have to present 10 top photos.
- The final winner team assure itself the CHASTADAYS Spot Trailer 2010 that will be presented in every world wide channel.
- The event is open to all comers.
**Entry fee : € 35,00 per rider.
The registration includes :medical care,jury,gadgets,freelounge Redbull.It is not included the insurance (the organization raises from any individual responsibility ).
